Traditional Language

           Traditional languages are the one of the culture that every country has. For example Indonesia, it has many traditional languages. Traditional language are the impotrtant thing that can be identity of the country. But recently, Kompas media said about traditional language that has gone in this era slowly.

           First reason is the modernization and globalization era. I agree with that because I think modernization and globalization can make bad effect to the citizens. The information can perform faster and foreign culture can come into our country but when the citizens can receive information faster than before automatically their own culture can be lost by it. Lately, they feel ashamed with their own traditional culture.

           Second reason is the educational institutions not teach their students about their own culture. I agree with that. In fact many of educational institutions teach their students with International language and the educator just tell about foreign culture. Especially for kindergarten and elementary students. Kids in that age can memorize more and more what their teacher teach for them. It can make the students never known their own traditional culture.

          So, I think we as the young generation must maintain this cause. To remain our culture so that it would not become lost. 

WRITING PRODUCT III - UNFORGETABLE MOMENT

The Next Stewardess has Gone Away

Last year, there was an audition become stewardess. This audition was held by one famous flight coorporation in Indonesia. I knew this audition from newspaper. Because I had a dream to become stewardess, so I decided to join this audition.

The night before, I prepared all. I borrowed my best friend's skirt because i didn't have any skirt. After that I slept earlier than before to refresh my body. At the day, I woken up earlier because I must prepared myself very well. I had to use make up, woren skirt and used high heels. It was not my habit, so i was very difficult to walked when I used that. After all, me and my friend went to Novotel Surabaya because the audition was in there. On the way, I was very nervous because it was my first time to joined the audition.

When we arrived, I met some participant that more stylish and beautiful than me. And I was jealous by them. But my friend always supported me that I can do this and I become confidenced again . Directly, me and my friend went to inside the hotel. But it was very difficult for me to passed away the route because I used high heels. And my friend helped me to pass that way. Before I entered the room, me and other participants had to wait our turn. And I was very nervous again because I saw many participants more ready than me. I felt so embrassed when I thought that my outfit didn't well like the others. When was my turn, me and for about fifteen other participants went to one room in the second floor to followed the interview and some physical test. In there, the judge was command me to walk straight follow the line. After that, I had to turn around in front of the judge. And then the judge said, "You're able to be stewardess but I may say sorry that your shoulder to wide". "Do you like swimming" she asked me again. And I said, "Yes, I like swimming that ones of my hobbies". She replied, "Oh OK, that's good for your health but I'm so sorry that you can not continue the judging season, so let's please move to that room". And I dissapointed with that judgement. In that room my good mood has gone away. One young committe was in that room and ask me some questions abaout that flight coorporation and I answered his question with annoyed. After that he gave me some souvenirs and he let me to go out from that room. When I was out, I recently looked for my friend to took me to the home quickly because I was so sad. My dream to become stewardess has gone away forever, I thought then. But my friend still supported me.

It was my big lesson. This moment always remind me, when we wanted something we must work hard to get it become true.

WRITING PRODUCT 2 - INTERESTING PLACE IN EAST JAVA

Interesting Place in East Java

East Java has many interesting places to visit . One place that awesome is in Probolinggo . It's called Songa Adventure . There is a natural place . Songa is the place to outbond, wall climbing, rafting, flying fox, and other chalenge game .
Songa is located on the forest which near the river . It's so natural places . Rafting is the reason why this place is so popular . Many people come here to try the rafting chalenge . Songa offer us to follow the rafting line in the river about 9 kilometres . We follow the river with the rubber ship and we must wear some equipments that it use to protect our body . Actually all the equipments has gave by Songa management . Don't forget to take the pedal . We will guide by life guard and guides .
We follow the rafting line is about 2 an half hours . The river has 12 rapids which has own chalenge when we across it . The rapids has own name according to their shape or line . When we follow the river we can see a beatufil natural scenary , and meet some villagers which do some activities in the river . In the middle of our journey we offer the coconut which has pick from the coconut trees and some traditional food from the village .After taking a rest for a while we continue our journey until we finish the line . Songa is the popular place for us who love chalenge game .

WRIING TASK 1 - HOMETOWN

                 Many people known Sidoarjo with Lumpur Lapindo disaster .  But  not many people known about the interesting thing in there . Sidoarjo is a small city which has developed for many years ago . Many Sidoarjo's residents become succes by working as executor of seafish . And they have produced a good quality of Bandeng fish . Most of this city income are become from there .

                Sidoarjo is a small city but many interesting place that it has .Ones of the interesting place is a big field which located on the center of the city called as ' Alun-Alun Sidoarjo ' . In every Saturday evening the residents are filled-up this place . In there we can find many entertainment . We also can find many traditional entertainment which can not we see in a big city . Such as 'Andong' or dog-chart and 'Odong-odong' . You can rent 'Andong for take a round this place . Many food stalk un there and which has a good price and tasty food . Not only modern food but also traditional food from Java . Sidoarjo also has a traditional food like 'Lontong Kupang' and 'Kerupuk Udang' or shrimp crackers . Another important place in Sidoarjo is 'GOR' or kind of a big hall sport court . In 1998 there was taking 'National Olimpic Season' or called 'PON' . It's very big sport event in Indonesia . So this place is mostly important . People come here for jogging or do some exercises . For shopping Sidoarjo also has 'Tanggulangin' . Tanggulangin produce bag , shoes , jacket and case that made from leather . The price is reasonable with the quality . So many people when come to Surabaya always come in here to buy some souvenirs .

                 I like live in here because this city is not too crowd and busy like Surabaya .
